Chip-Scale Power Supercapacitor Research

Worked with PhD student Julia Allen to fabricate supercapacitors to provide high-power energy storage for microelectronics systems. Manufactured silicon wafers with carbon nanotubes, facilitated the assembly of supercapacitors. Collaborated with team members to present information to members from NASA’s Marshal Space Flight Center.

Georgia Tech Tutoring & Academic Support (TAS)

I'm currently drop-in tutor, PLUS Mentor, and PLUS Leader for TAS. As a drop-in tutor, I provide morning drop-in tutoring for Linear Algebra 4 hours per week. As a mentor, I oversee the scheduling and sessions of mentees and hold meetings to discuss updates and provide additional training. As a PLUS Leader, I lead exam review sessions of up to ~300 people with two other PLUS leaders

Guinea Worm Disease Filter Bucket Prototype

Helped the Carter Center eradicate Guinea Worm Disease (GWD) in the country of Chad. Utilized an iterative design process that emphasized the fundamentals of the engineering design process and collaborated with team members to develop the Filter Bucket: a cost-effective filtration device that allows people to collect and filter water in one place
